Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire seeks a part-time group leader for the Penacook location. The role supports youth with structured morning and afternoon programs, oversees activities, and reinforces safety and positive behavior.

Flexibility includes possible summer hours and occasional driving responsibilities. Ideal candidates are 18+ with youth experience, familiar with youth development, and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Ability to communicate with parents/guardians.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications to meet licensing requirements.
• Occasional travel for meetings and training; may drive a club van.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success by creating an engaging, safe environment.
• Develop, implement, and supervise educational, enrichment, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and evaluate programs to ensure safety, quality, and inclusiveness.
• Document incidents and communicate with licensing authorities as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and family communications.
