Job summary

After-School All-Stars Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader for Arleta, CA, overseeing after-school activities from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You will provide leadership, ensure safety, and support enrichment and academic activities for K-12 students.

Requires experience with youth, strong communication, and ability to work with school staff and families. Evening and occasional weekend hours may be required; travel between sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in grades K-12 in recreational, educational and/or community youth outreach setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to incidents swiftly.
• Ability to lead and participate in structured after-school activities.
• Must be 18 years of age and pass required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planning and implementing the daily after-school program under the supervision.
• Maintain a 20:1 ratio using recruitment and retention strategies.
• Develop positive relationships with youth, guardians, and school staff.
• Supervise students during program activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Communicate with supervisor and participate in professional development.
