YMCA in Encinitas, CA is seeking an Enrichment Leader to supervise and support a group of students ages 5-12 during after-school hours. You will help with homework, plan enrichment activities, and ensure a safe, positive environment.

The role requires planning daily lessons across arts & crafts, science, engineering, sports, cooking, or drama while guiding students through online learning and in-person activities. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with groups of children ages 5-12.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement the daily program in line with YMCA policies.
• Create age-appropriate activities in arts, crafts, science, cooking, sports, drama, and more.
• Support and supervise students with distance learning and homework completion.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and creative learning environment for all participants.
• Model positive behavior and foster respectful relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to program planning and ongoing activities.
