Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in Oak Park, IL to lead after-school activities and provide a safe, structured environment for children.

You will plan engaging lessons, assist with homework, and communicate with families daily while earning $17.00–$20.00 per hour. Hours are Monday–Friday 3:00–6:00 PM with a Wednesday 2:30 PM start. Candidates should be at least 18 and ready to join a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games.
• Excellent customer service and communication with children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and move/stand during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students; take attendance and records.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons.
• Support with homework tasks as needed.
• Supervise during free play; ensure safety and structure.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up/drop-off.
