Job summary

Right At School is hiring part-time Educators to lead activities at elementary schools, ensuring a safe and structured environment after school and during enrichment programs. You’ll work with kids, plan activities, and support academics while maintaining daily attendance and parent communication.

Opportunities to gain hands-on education experience, flexible AM/PM shifts, and on-site roles at partner schools are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills with children and adults.
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students, take attendance, and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities and enrichment lessons for age groups.
• Facilitate homework time and assist with academic tasks.
• Supervise during free play, snack, and transitions; ensure safety.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance; report incidents promptly.
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pickup/drop-off; log updates.
• Set up/clean up space and materials; attend daily team meetings.
