Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks a compassionate Teacher to lead and mentor staff, implement educational curricula, and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will collaborate with parents to support each child’s development and work with center teams to drive enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires strong customer service and organizational skills, with 2–3 years in Early Childhood Education, a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational abilities required.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy considered.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• State qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistently with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
