Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom, delivering our curriculum and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. You’ll partner with families to ensure the best care and education while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to engage with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organization; ability to multi-task
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center’s success; work with staff/leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners
