Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to join our team. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and build a safe, nurturing learning environment for children while partnering with families.

You will contribute to center success through enrollment, accreditation, and engagement initiatives. Qualified candidates have CDA/NAEYC credentials or willingness to obtain, relevant ECE experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support care and education for their children.
• Support center’s success by achieving goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
