Job summary

Right At School in Hillsboro, MO is hiring an Educator for our before/after school program. You will support daily activities, lead curriculum-aligned lessons, and create a safe, engaging environment for elementary students.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. We require a high school diploma or GED and Missouri safety prerequisites. This on-site role offers a structured schedule and opportunities to inspire a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Customer service and relationship-building skills required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work with children.
• Must meet Missouri state requirements and have First Aid/CPR in-person.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and updates in program meetings.
• Prepare and lead age-appropriate activities aligned with objectives.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Monitor safety, address hazards, and document attendance/incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and schools.
