Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking is seeking enthusiastic part-time Chef Instructors in the Green Valley Ranch/Watkins area to cultivate curious eaters. Classes run Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30–4:30 PM starting mid September, with on-campus time about 90+ minutes.

Instructors lead hands-on cooking, spark creativity, and travel among local schools, bringing safe, engaging kitchen experiences to kids aged 3–18. Fingerprint background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Available to teach 1 hour classes 2 days a week between 2–5 PM (Mon–Thu).
• Experienced teaching kids of various ages.
• Punctual, reliable and able to manage groups of 8–14 kids.
• Can commit to 4–12 week sessions.
• Willing to obtain ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Lifts up to 30 lbs and can transport materials.
• Has a reliable vehicle and can drive.

Sticky Fingers Cooking is looking for enthusiastic part-time Chef Instructors in the Green Valley Ranch/Watkins area to help us Cultivate COOLinary Curiosity in Kids!

This position will have 2 Sessions available: Wednesdays and Thursdays (3:30 - 4:30 class time) starting mid September! Arrival time is 3:10 and you will be on campus about 90+ mins.
There will likely be opportunities in the Green Valley Ranch area on Monday and Wednesdays as well!

If you're passionate about cooking, have experience working with kids, and are looking for a fun, flexible, and meaningful part-time job, we want to meet you! Applications will be accepted until Sept 30th.

What You'll Do

• Lead Hands-On Cooking Classes: Teach kids how to chop, mix, measure, and create healthy, exciting recipes from around the world.
• Spark Creativity: Introduce kids to new ingredients, cuisines, and cultures in an engaging, interactive way.
• Stay Organized: Prepare for classes using provided curricula, shop for fresh ingredients, and set up fun, safe kitchen environments.
• Be the Face of Fun: Inspire and encourage kids as they gain confidence in the kitchen.

Who You Are

• Available to teach 1 hour classes (on campus 90+ mins) at least 2 days a week between 2-5 PM, Mondays- Thursdays. Occasionally we have Friday Sessions available in this area.
• Experienced in working with kids of various ages and backgrounds.
• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing groups of 8-14 kids. Must arrive on campus 20-30 minutes prior to scheduled class time. Varies per school.
• Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4-12 weeks.
• Willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
• Lift up to 30 lbs to store and transport materials.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive.

A Day in the Life

As a Sticky Fingers Cooking instructor, you'll travel to different schools in your area to bring "the kitchen" to kids. Using our tried-and-true recipes, you'll teach them essential cooking skills, food safety, and the history and culture behind each dish-all while fostering creativity and confidence. From slicing and dicing to learning about global cuisines, kids will have a blast in your classes, and so will you!
