Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with childcare experience.
• College credits in early childhood education and related experience.
• Professional childcare credentials or degrees as listed.
• Degree in early childhood or related field considered.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees and community.
• Prepare site and activities before children arrive.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Treat every child with respect.
• Maintain behavior standards per policy.
• Inform Childcare Specialist about student activities.
• Participate in clean-up activities.
• Complete 18 training hours annually as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
