Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 to assist the Childcare Specialist in planning the before and after school program and supervise students.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, establishing rapport, preparing activities, administering first aid when necessary, and ensuring compliance with district policies. Work is part-time with early morning hours.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications under AZ rules and be 18+.
• Provide documentation of one of the listed education/experience options.
• Associate or bachelor degree in early childhood or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Prepare site and activities before children arrive.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Treat every child with respect.
• Maintain behavior in line with district policy.
• Keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities.
• Share in cleanup activities.
• Annually complete a minimum of 18 verifiable hours of approved training per department of Health Services regulations.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED + 6 months childcare experience

12 credits including 6 in early childhood + 6 months childcare experience

N.A.C., C.D.A., C.C.P., or C.P.C. credential

Associate or bachelor degree in early childhood or related field
