Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with childcare experience, college credits in early childhood if possible, and current CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with childcare experience.
• At least 12 college credits with 6 in early childhood; 6 months childcare experience.
• Credential: N.A.C., C.D.A., C.C.P., or CPC; or associate/bachelor in early childhood or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Treat every child with respect.
• Maintain behavior standards per district policy.
• Keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities.
• Share and participate in cleanup activities.
• Complete 18 hours of approved training annually.
• Other duties as assigned.
