Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District seeks a Childcare Provider 2 to assist the Childcare Specialist in planning before and after school activities and supervise students at the site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with childcare experience, credentials (NAC/CDA/CCP/CPC) or higher education in early childhood, and DPS FPCC clearance with CPR/First Aid eligibility within 30 days. Work would be within district programs in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months qualifying childcare experience.
• At least 12 college credits including 6 in early childhood and 6 months qualifying childcare experience.
• NAC, CDA, CCP, or CPC credential; or Associate/Bachelor in early childhood or related field.
• Valid DPS FPCC Fingerprint Clearance Card and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Maintain behavior in line with district and program policy.
• Keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities.
