Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District 48 Pueblo Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Part-time Childcare Provider 2 to support the before/after school program. Work hours are 2:15-6:15pm, four hours daily, with duties including supervision, activity prep, and student engagement.

The role requires meeting staff qualifications, valid DPS FPCC, and current first aid/CPR. Immediate start with competitive hourly wages in a non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications under Arizona rules and be 18+ years old.
• DPS FPCC background check required.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Six months of qualifying childcare experience or 12 college credits in early childhood education.
• Background in early childhood education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with students, employees and community.
• Prepare site and activities before children arrive.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Treat every child with respect.
• Maintain behavior standards per district and program policy.
• Keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities.
• Participate in cleanup activities.
• Annually complete a minimum of 18 verifiable training hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
