Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 for the Kiva ES program in Paradise Valley, AZ. The role supports the Childcare Specialist with planning the before- and after-school program and supervising children.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with childcare experience, or related credentials, and includes a 4-hour/day schedule with pay between $17.36 and $18.06 per hour. DPS fingerprint clearance and first aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications under Arizona Administrative Code R9-5-401.
• Applicants must be 18+ and provide documentation of qualifications.
• Background check and DPS fingerprint clearance required.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Establish rapport with students, employees and community.
• Prepare site and activities before children’s arrival.
• Supervise children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Maintain behavior standards in line with district policy.
• Inform Childcare Specialist of student activities.
• Participate in cleanup activities.
• Complete 18 training hours annually as required.
