Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking an on-site leader for the Before and After School Care program at Riverglades Elementary in Parkland. You will ensure a safe, enriching environment, plan activities, supervise students, and coordinate with staff.

Ideal candidates will have BASCC training or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and basic computer skills; bilingual abilities are a plus. The position is hourly and aligned with the district compensation plan.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required and maintained.
• Computer skills required as needed for the position.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Before and After School Child Care Quality Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate activities and schedule for children in coordination with program evaluation.
• Direct the activities of volunteers and Child Care Monitors.
• Provide direct supervision of students and ensure safety and proper behavior.
