Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking a dedicated supervisor for the Before and After School Care on-site program to lead planned activities and supervise participants in a safe, enriching environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior experience with school-age children, and completion of BASCC training within the first year, plus ongoing BASCC training each year. Must be 18+ with basic computer skills and physical capability to move objects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Volunteer/work experience with school-age children in group supervision is required.
• Within the 1st year, complete BASCC Components I and II.
• Within the 1st year, complete My Florida SNP-10h, UDAP-5h, SAP-5h modules (PSP not acceptable).
• At least 10 hours of BASCC training every year of employment.
• Computer skills are required; must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned activities for the before/after school on-site program.
• Ensure a safe, enriching environment for participants.
• Adhere to district policies and participate in required trainings.
