Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking a temporary part-time staff member to conduct the planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for participants. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and experience supervising school-age children.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 6 PM. Applicants must complete BASCC components or My Florida modules within the first year, and a minimum of BASCC

Qualifications

• Requires a standard high school diploma or GED.
• Experience supervising school-age children in a group setting is required.
• Within the 1st year, complete BASCC Components I and II or My Florida modules (SNP-10h, UDAP-5h, SAP-5h).
• At least 10 hours of BASCC training per year of employment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Computer skills are required as needed for the position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program to ensure safety and enrichment for participants.
• Resume must show experience in supervising school-age children.
