Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with prior experience working with children.
• Some Early Childhood or Child Development college coursework preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR training or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to complete up to 16 clock hours of professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provides child care support services.
• Develop positive relationships with children, parents, staff and community.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for 3–12 year olds.
• Perform attendance and record keeping as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility and playground.
• Address behavior management and communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
• Administer children’s medication and First Aid as needed; complete required documentation.
