Job summary

The role focuses on organizing after-school activities, promoting participation, and ensuring safety and budgeting for programs within a district-wide context. Strong communication with staff, parents, and students is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively with parents, students, and other staff.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Willingness to accept and follow direction.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• General office skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and supervises a series of regularly scheduled extracurricular activities for students after school hours.
• Actively promotes the program and seeks student participation.
• Attends activity meetings and supervises students at related events and field trips.
• Ensures safety of students and security of equipment and facilities.
• Prepares activity budget and maintains records related to expenses and revenues.
• Oversees development, production and distribution of student-produced products.
• Arranges transportation or scheduling for competition.
• Evaluates the program annually and recommends improvements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Activities.
