Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools in Minnetonka Middle School East is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Club-Student Government advisor to guide student participants, plan seasonal activities, and ensure a positive enrichment experience. Qualifications

• Experience advising/coaching student activities.
• Knowledge of district policies and student activity codes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise individual student participants in the skills necessary for successful performance.
• Manage and supervise student behavior during activity events.
• Responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of advising/coaching an enrichment team.
• Provide a positive learning environment for student participants.
• Plan and schedule seasonal activity in accordance with District policy.
• Assume primary responsibility for scheduling and preparation of area/facility where event is to be held and coordinate with the Student Activities Office.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
