Job summary

Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring Behavior Technicians (BT) and RBTs for part-time after-school hours. Typical sessions run 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with weekend opportunities. Roles include home, school, clinic, and community settings, supporting children with ABA therapy under BCBA guidance.

BTs earn up to $22/hour and RBTs up to $24/hour, with paid training and RBT certification support. Flexible part-time scheduling and ongoing mentorship are offered in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance.
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements.
• Availability during afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents.
• Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data during therapy sessions.
• Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
