Job summary

Springfield Public Schools seeks an After Dark Site Administrator for The High School of Science and Technology/Putnam Academy in Springfield, MA. The position is at the After Dark site with a 2:30pm–6:00pm schedule (3.5 hours/day) under the After Dark program.

Salary is $60 per hour. The role supports curriculum access, data management, and family communications, with duties aligning to program implementation and student participation.

Qualifications

• Currently an SPS employee.
• Previous vocational experience required.
• Must hold Massachusetts Administrator or Supervisor License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise After Dark faculty, students and operational procedures.
• Support teachers in accessing and implementing curriculum.
• Manage and maintain data, i.e. attendance, course completion, pre/post assessments, progress, surveys, etc., to document the implementation of the Program.
• Contact families and students via phone, e-mail, letter to ensure Program participation and completion.
