Job summary

Springfield Public Schools in Western Massachusetts seeks a Vocational Technical Education instructor to teach the framework strands and support students in developing safety, technical standards, employability, and related skills. You will coordinate with district administrators, provide grades and feedback, maintain PowerSchool attendance, and help implement the After Dark Program.

The position runs weekdays after school with a 3:00–6:15 pm schedule and pays $50.00 per hour for instruction

Qualifications

• Certified in the content area(s) for which you are applying.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and other teachers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes for qualifying students in the specified content areas.
• Provide grade assignments and prompt instructional feedback to students.
• Maintain and record student grades and attendance in PowerSchool.
• Work with district administrators and Directors to implement the After Dark Program.
• Foster a positive learning environment and coordinate with families to ensure participation.
