Job summary

Verizon seeks a detail-oriented Consultant for Cyber Security Operations who will work after-hours shifts and support the Executive Relations Team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four+ years of relevant security experience demonstrated through work or military service.
• Flexibility to work after-hours, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for clear documentation and timely alerts.
• Basic understanding of wireless/wireline communications, account servicing, account security principles and VCG/ VBG structure.

Responsibilities

• After-hours operations & monitoring during after-hours, weekend, and holiday windows.
• Review security events and escalate to leadership immediately for high-severity threats or anomalies.
• Support Executive Relations with sensitive account requests and escalations.
• Create, revise, and maintain operational documentation and enrollment/de-enrollment tasks.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Corporate Security, and technical teams to route routine escalations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, including AI-powered automation.
