Job summary

Verizon is seeking a detail-oriented Consultant to join the Cyber Security Operations team. The role involves after-hours shifts, monitoring, and documenting procedures. You will support the Executive Relations Team and alert leadership to critical issues as they arise.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills and flexibility for after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear documentation and timely alerts.

Responsibilities

• After-Hours Operations & Monitoring: maintain system and threat monitoring during after-hours, weekend, and holiday windows.
• Security Event Review & Critical Escalation: monitor events and logs, alert leadership on critical issues.
• Executive Relations & Account Support: assist with sensitive account requests, including lock removals and protections.
• Documentation & Revision: create and revise operational docs and enrollment/de-enrollment tasks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: liaise with Cyber Security, Corporate Security, and technical teams.
• Process Improvements: identify ways to improve processes and leverage AI to reduce manual work.
