Job summary

Marion General Hospital seeks a capable Nursing Unit Manager to oversee hospital operations during non-administrative hours. You will participate in incident investigations and prepare reports to improve care and services, while maintaining regulatory standards and safety training.

You will ensure appropriate staffing levels, communicate with Administration and physicians, and support the Nursing Department’s mission and strategic plans under the Chief Nursing Officer guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-hospital nursing operations during non-administrative hours.
• Investigate and prepare incident reports involving employees, patients, or families.
• Advise Chief Nursing Officer on day-to-day nursing operations and staffing.
