Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Nursing Admin Supervisor (PRN) to promote and maintain quality patient care across the organization on the assigned shift. The role involves directing coordination with Admissions and Bed Control, monitoring bed availability, and ensuring surge capacity measures are ready when needed.

The supervisor will lead nursing staff, manage staffing on a shift-to-shift basis, and serve as the on-site hospital administrator after hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• BSN or MSN in nursing preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care on the assigned shift.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to facilitate flow.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing on a shift-to-shift basis.
• Act as on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours.
• Assess administrator-on-call requests during the shift and respond accordingly.
