Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a House Supervisor to provide after-hours leadership, oversee patient care, staffing, and clinical operations in a hospital setting.

The role acts as the in-house administrative representative outside of normal business hours, guiding care delivery and coordinating resources for efficiency and service quality. Key duties include rounds, staff mentoring, conflict resolution, and ensuring documentation and communication are complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in TX.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required upon hire.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ recent nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents facility administration after business hours and on weekends.
• Rounds throughout the facility on a frequent and consistent basis.
• Responds to patient, visitor, and physician concerns.
• Mentors and supports staff.
• Supports units with staffing variances and coverage based on unit/acuity staffing.
• Keeps staff informed of new developments and policies.
