Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to coordinate patient care across multiple units during evening, night, and weekend shifts. The role reports to Clinical Managers and emphasizes leadership, clinical direction, and staffing decisions to ensure high-quality patient care.

The Nursing Supervisor will coordinate interdisciplinary communication and participate in the Nursing Leadership Team to meet hospital policies and divisional goals, while promoting a positive work environment and ongoing

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree required (diploma, ASN or BSN preferred; BSN within 4 years required)
• Experience: 5+ years of Staff Nurse experience including Charge Nurse responsibilities; Leadership experience required
• Certification/Licensure: MA RN license, BLS, and ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction to staff and ensures quality nursing care
• Manages staffing decisions to maintain high-quality, cost-efficient patient care
• Oversees human resource management within the Nursing Division and hospital for evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Acts as on-site hospital representative coordinating operational/administrative activities during shifts
• Leads Nursing Division activities with policies and divisional goals in mind
• Maintains interdisciplinary communication and promotes a positive image of the Nursing Division
• Supports personal career growth and development
