Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Three years RN experience with increasing responsibilities.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid RN license in California required.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts staffing to meet patient care needs for shifts based on acuity and staffing guidelines.
• Provides clinical supervision and direction to nursing units and departments.
• Leads crisis intervention and supports staff during stressful events.
• Responds to code situations and manages post-event processes.
• Collaborates with nurse managers to ensure policy adherence and safety standards.
• Performs delegated pharmacy functions when pharmacy is closed and assists with admissions, transfers and bed control.
