Job summary

Wake Forest University is seeking a part-time Safe Office After-Hours On-Call Responder to provide immediate after-hours support to students on the Reynolda campus who have experienced sexual harassment, assault, domestic/relationship violence, or stalking.

The role requires on-call availability 24 hours a day on weekends and 5:00 p.m. EST through 8:30 a.m. EST on weekdays, with shifts during fall and spring semesters. A Bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with a diverse student population, faculty, staff and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Remain accessible by cell phone during on-call shifts to respond to incidents.
  • Respond promptly to calls for assistance or questions about resources.
  • Provide immediate response to survivors following campus policies and protocols.
  • Provide confidential consultation and connect to campus/community resources.
  • Provide follow-up assistance as directed by the Safe Office.
  • Maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with policy and ethics.
  • Attend monthly Safe Office meetings and participate in ongoing training.
