Job summary

Wake Forest University is seeking a part-time Safe Office After-Hours On-Call Responder to provide immediate after-hours response to survivors of sexual harassment, assault, domestic/relationship violence or stalking on the Reynolda campus. The role requires on-call availability 24/7 on weekends and 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with sound judgment during crises.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when engaging diverse students, staff and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Remain accessible by cell phone during on-call shifts to respond to incidents.
  • Provide immediate confidential crisis support to survivors and connect to resources.
  • Coordinate follow-up responses with the Safe Office Associate Director.
  • Maintain timely, accurate records per university policies and ethics.
  • Attend monthly Safe Office meetings and participate in additional trainings as needed.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
