Related Affordable in Chelsea, Manhattan seeks a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to oversee compliance for a 144-unit affordable housing community. The role focuses on income limits, rent schedules, and regulatory reporting, requiring meticulous data handling and collaboration with site staff and residents.

You will monitor changes in HUD Section 8 and LIHTC requirements, coordinate reporting deadlines, and support audits while maintaining accurate records using Smartsheet and other tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years affordable housing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD Section 8 and LIHTC programs; annual reporting experience preferred.
• Strong data management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of changes to income limits, regulatory agreements and program requirements.
• Maintain Bands of Affordability, income limits, and rent schedules.
• Communicate changes to rent schedules and regulatory requirements to staff, residents and stakeholders.
• Track regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines; prepare and submit agency reports.
• Monitor compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and coordinate corrections.
• Review and reconcile compliance data to support reporting and process improvement.
• Facilitate reporting of KPIs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance and operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Support regulatory audits and special projects.
