Related Affordable is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support a 144-unit multifamily community in Chelsea, Manhattan. The role focuses on income limits, reporting, and regulatory adherence within affordable housing programs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in affordable housing, strong data and Office skills, and capacity to work Saturdays. This exempt position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• 3+ years affordable housing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HUD Section 8 and LIHTC programs and certification processing; knowledge and experience with affordable housing annual reporting requirements preferred.
• Strong data management skills with significant attention to detail.
• Available to work one Saturday per month.
• Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office required.
• Working knowledge of RealPage OneSite desired.
• Working knowledge of affordable housing regulatory reporting requirements desired.
• Proven ability to build trust with community members from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrates accountability and reliability with precision and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of changes to income limits, regulatory agreements, and program requirements.
• Maintain Bands of Affordability, income limits, and rent schedules.
• Communicate changes to rent schedules, income limits, utility allowances, and other regulatory requirements to staff, residents and stakeholders.
• Track regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual agency reports.
• Monitor property management and compliance systems for data accuracy and corrections.
• Review and reconcile compliance data to support reporting and improvements.
• Facilitate reporting of compliance KPIs to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance and operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Support regulatory audits and special projects.
• Identify and elevate potential compliance risks.
• Track property marketing efforts and documentation for reporting.
• Maintain accurate compliance records using Smartsheet and other designated software.
• Coordinate staff enrollment in required compliance programs.
• Perform special projects and other duties.
