Job summary

The Bremerton Housing Authority is seeking a Housing Manager to oversee daily operations of the Housing Department and to help update policies for HCV, LIHTC, LIPH and other funders. You will participate in leadership, ensure compliance, and drive quality control across programs.

As part of a department leadership team, you will supervise staff, develop procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver housing services with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or vocational/technical school.
• At least 4 years’ experience in Affordable Housing Programs; supervisory experience preferred.
• Combination of experience, training and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the work of assigned staff; ensure compliance with laws, policies and contracts.
• Ensure files and records meet audit standards; provide quality assurance.
• Develop and deliver training; lead customer service improvements.
• Research, analyze and solve complex situations with applicants, participants, landlords and staff.
• Address program violations and fraud; advise on participant terminations per policy.
• Provide leadership to support the agency's strategic plan.
