Job summary

The Bremerton Housing Authority seeks a Supervisor of Property Management to lead day-to-day operations of the property management team within the Housing Department. You will help develop policies and ensure compliance with housing programs such as HCV, LIHTC, HOME, and funders.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in residential property management with direct supervision and at least 3 years in supervisory roles, with strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing housing programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience in residential property management with direct supervision.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with HUD/LIHTC/Section 8 or related programs and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of assigned property management staff and oversee supervision chains.
• Recommend personnel actions and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and funder requirements across areas.
• Maintain audit-ready files and support quality assurance.
• Lead staff in delivering excellent customer service and training.
• Resolve lease/program issues and coordinate with legal as needed.
• Provide leadership to support agency mission and strategic goals.
