Job summary

The Bremerton Housing Authority is seeking a Housing Manager in Bremerton, WA to oversee day-to-day operations of the Housing Department, including HCV, LIHTC, and other funders. You will help develop policies and ensure compliance while leading a team of staff and coordinating with leadership.

You will supervise staff, implement training, monitor program compliance, and manage quality assurance across housing programs. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or vocational/technical school.
• At least 4 years’ experience in Affordable Housing Programs (HCV, PBV, Public Housing, Tax Credit) with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the work of assigned staff, ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and funder requirements.
• Provide quality assurance oversight and maintain audit-ready files.
• Foster customer service excellence and staff training.
• Research, analyze and resolve complex housing program issues and violations.
• Provide leadership to support the agency's strategic plan and mission.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
