Job summary

VOA Colorado is seeking a full-time Property Operations Assistant in Fort Collins to handle applications, certifications and lease documents for two properties (Sanctuary and Cadence). The role covers rent processing, data entry, and responding to resident needs while supporting the Property Manager in daily operations.

The ideal candidate has administrative experience, basic math, and knowledge of Fair Housing. VOAC offers strong benefits and a reliable hourly wage with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year administrative/clerical experience.
• 1 year apartment management experience.
• Basic math aptitude.
• Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Good organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and landlord/tenant rights.

Responsibilities

• Process applications, certifications and interim certifications with interviews and verifications.
• Execute applicant lease documents per VOA Colorado policy.
• Collect and post rents, deliver delinquency notices, and reconcile resident ledgers.
• Maintain applicant waitlist and resident files; assist with annual audits.
• Enter coded invoices into property management software.
• Monitor the property and resolve minor issues; escalate major ones in absence of the Property Manager.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.
