HTG is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Miami, FL to promote a positive image of the apartment community and assist with resident programs and retention. Experience with Affordable Housing programs is required.

You will handle leasing, prospecting, applications, leases, and rent collection while supporting marketing efforts. The role emphasizes thorough knowledge of the property, strong communication skills, and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Excellent telephone and communication skills.
• Apartment management and/or sales experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Know the apartment community and amenities.
• Inspect show apartments and maintain model appearance.
• Lease apartments: greet prospects, tour, close, process applications, prepare leases.
• Document prospect contacts and complete market surveys.
• Maintain closing ratios and collect rents.
• Prepare reports like market surveys and commission sheets.
• Support marketing and verify ads; track traffic sources; assist events and outreach.
