Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our Miami, on-site team. You will attract tenants, show units, and explain the advantages of our locations and services. This role requires a background in affordable housing and strong customer service skills.

Ideal candidates have CAM/ARM/COS certification, 2+ years on-site as a Leasing Consultant, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and property software. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience required.
• CAM/ARM/COS certification required.
• At least 2 years on-site as Leasing Consultant or 3 years supervisory in a customer-service related business with certifications.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with PC, internet search, math, Word/Excel/Outlook and community software.

Responsibilities

• Survey market rents and advertise vacancies.
• Show units and explain benefits of location and services.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
• Manage rents, budgets and forecast requirements.
• Maintain and repair units and respond to tenant concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance and vendor services.
• Ensure occupancy policies and safety procedures are followed.
• Prepare reports and analyze trends.
