Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an Affordable Housing Specialist to support administration and compliance of affordable housing programs across a portfolio of communities. You will manage income certifications, recertifications, and audits while guiding on-site teams to ensure program compliance and accurate resident documentation.

The role requires knowledge of HUD and Fair Housing, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in affordable housing administration or compliance.
• Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs preferred.
• Experience supporting compliance audits and regulatory reviews.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident income certifications for move-ins and renewals.
• Review income documentation, third-party verifications, leases for compliance.
• Serve as a resource on affordable housing program requirements.
• Provide guidance to on-site teams during lease-ups and move-ins.
• Respond to audit inquiries and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Generate recertification/renewal notices and coordinate rent changes.
• Coordinate Section 8 documentation with Housing Authorities.
• Manage waitlists and occupancy per program guidelines.
• Maintain resident files and compliance records.
