Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in affordable housing programs including LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD preferred.
• Experience with property management software a plus.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive interactions with residents and the public to enhance the community image and ensure superior resident retention.
• Lease apartments: greet prospects, show units, take applications, verify income and credit, and renew leases/certifications on time.
• Maintain the community's curb appeal and welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle rents securely, deposits, and daily cash records on site.
• Track rent payments, pursue delinquencies, and issue notices as needed.
• Screen and score rental applicants; manage bad debt files for collections.
