Job summary

ES3 is seeking a Welding Fabrication Specialist to support multiple programs at our MRDC in Clearfield, UT. The role involves fitting, cutting, welding, and soldering diverse metals per blueprints and job travelers.

Qualified candidates will meet AWS codes and thrive in an ISO9001:2015/AS9100D environment. Responsibilities include fabricating fixtures, cutting and assembling components, and inspecting welds with precision tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a trade program in fabrication/welding or similar training.
• Prior AWS D1.x certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of related experience; aerospace experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding with ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read aerospace blueprints with tight tolerances and complex setups.
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components per blueprints/works orders.
• Cut, position, clamp, and jig components prior to welding.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, gas welding, and soldering as required.
• Inspect weldments with precision measurement tools and XRF where applicable.
• Work in ISO9001/AS9100D environment and adhere to safety procedures.
