Amentum is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator for the NASA ESSCA project at the MAS Forward operations in Huntsville. You will perform welding and fabrication on aluminum aerospace structures using fusion welding and friction stir welding, under supervision of engineers and senior technicians.

The role requires interpretation of drawings and adherence to aerospace standards. candidates should have a strong safety mindset, be able to obtain necessary certifications, and work on-site at

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and have a STAR ID.
• At least 4 years of experience or an Associate’s Degree in related field.
• Able to obtain and maintain required safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication operations.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Apply defined test and inspection techniques under guidance of senior staff.
• Prepare and present inspection and test reports and documentation.
