Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Welder with aerospace welding experience to join our fabrication team. You will produce parts from shop drawings, read blueprints, and operate welding and forming equipment to meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of TIG welding in aerospace or aviation, completion of a welding apprenticeship or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years welding in an Aerospace or Aviation environment
• Completion of a welding apprenticeship program; or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for ~25% of the work day
• Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes
• Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements
• Observe all applicable safety requirements
