Parker Aerospace in Elyria, OH, seeks an experienced Value Stream Leader to manage one or more plant value streams and drive Lean improvements. You will implement Parker Lean and Win Strategy, ensure safety and premier customer service, and oversee daily operations to meet short- and long-term goals.

Strong leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and Lean experience are essential for driving cost reductions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline.
• 4+ years of directly related experience in operations leadership.
• 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and related systems (MRP/ERP).
• Background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing and inventory control.
• Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding abilities.
• Experience with LEAN teams or LEAN leadership preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation of one or more plant value streams.
• Implement Lean system and Win Strategy to ensure safe work, quality, and cost reduction.
• Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Lead day shift for OEM business and coordinate across shifts.
• Develop future state value stream maps and manage improvement plans.
• Maintain Team Improvement Boards and PDCA culture for continuous improvement.
