Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Tooling Technician to install, repair, maintain, align, and modify precision tooling and industrial equipment. Willingness to travel or relocate to Kinston, NC is required, with relocation assistance available.

The role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting reliability processes across tools and machines, contributing to production efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Experience with installation, repair, and alignment of tooling and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand layout plans.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to plans.
• Dismantles equipment and machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails using hand and power tools.
• Constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.
• Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make parts.
• Performs root/cause analysis in support reliability processes; collaborates with vendors and teams to solve problems.
• Reworks and maintains tools of all types and materials.
• Performs routine minor machine maintenance (filters, bulbs, lubrication levels).
• Repairs and builds lay-up tools.
