Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, located in Kinston, NC, is seeking a Tooling Maintenance Technician to join our production team. You will dismantle, assemble and repair industrial machinery, work with PLC and CNC controlled equipment, and read blueprints to ensure precise installations on site.

The role requires adaptability to all shifts and may involve limited travel. The successful candidate will have welding experience preferred (tig/laser), understand drawings, operate hand and power tools, and

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in tig and/or laser welding preferred.
• Willing to work any shift.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• 5% domestic/international travel.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves and installs machinery per layouts and drawings.
• Operates machine tools and fabrication equipment; conducts routine inspections.
• Performs root/cause analysis and coordinates with teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintains and repairs tooling and lay-up tools; uses hand and power tools.
• Reads PLC/CNC program instructions and integrates with equipment.
